"We Need This Beautiful Place Dedicated To Honor & Education..."

Jimmy C. Edwards, Chairman

Jimmie Edwards III
Retired United States Marine Corps Cpl.

Judge Jimmie C. Edwards was the man with the vision when it came time to decommission the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial in downtown Conroe, TX. A strong leader was needed to help find a new home for the memorial and he was tapped as the man for the job. The Southeast corner of I45 and Hwy 105 was a location long neglected and desperately in need of purpose. Jimmie Edwards had the vision, passion, and now the means to make something new and lasting for the fallen Veterans of Montgomery County in addition to Veterans across the country.

Judge Jimmie C. Edwards was born and raised in Montgomery County making the project all the more personal to him. His many accomplishments include being a retired USMC Corporal, a Montgomery County Judge, Chairman of the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission, and a Paul Harris Fellow to name a few. His goal was to create a Park of Memorials like none other in the United States. He, along with the aid of fellow commission members, are doing just that and they are only getting started!
